The social concept at Camp Diego is especially important for the boarding dog who will be separated from his/her pet parents for a longer period of time. The problems that occur when pets are left alone during the day often intensify when parents are gone for one day or several days.
Each dog boarding at Camp Diego receives 7 hours of supervised group play PLUS he/she also receives additional exercise, play and attention during the evening hours 365 days a year.

 
Pet parents can leave their worries at the door. We have adopted health and safety policies and have provided for the comfort and privileges your canine kids deserve.

For Health and Safety:

  • Vaccinations: Proof of current routine vaccinations; Bordatella vaccination every 6 months.
  • Flea Control: All dogs need to be on a veterinarian-approved flea control program. If fleas are found on a dog, the owner will be notified that a flea bath, at the owner's expense, is required.
  • Spaying or Neutering: Required of all dogs prior to attendance at Camp Diego.
  • Aggression: All dogs are screened for behavior problems prior to attendance in order to maintain a safe environment.
  • Emergencies: A veterinarian is on call 24 hours a day.
  • Sanitation: All pet areas are continuously cleaned and disinfected daily.
  • Supervision: Supervision is provided by our camp counselors.
  • Prescribed medications and special diets are administerd by qualified personnel.
  • Pet Food is to be provided by the pet parents (this ensures that your pet's digestive system is not jeopardized by a sudden change in diet).

BOARDING DEPOSITS
A deposit equal to the cost of the single night reservation will be required for all boarding reservations and deducted from the final bill. The deposit will be forfeited unless the reservation is cancelled 24 hours in advance, with the exception of holiday reservations which require a 7-day advance cancellation notice.

Prices include administering medication and special diets.
